Furthermore, it scored an impressive 164 in color accuracy, faithfully representing skin tones across various lighting scenarios and delivering vibrant and pleasing photo rendering.

According to DXOMARK, when it comes to viewing photos, the Pixel 8 is slightly dimmer than the iPhone 15 but shines brighter when it comes to web page browsing.
Color reproduction on the Pixel 8 is noteworthy, particularly in its rendering of skin tones. However, it did exhibit a ‘slight pink cast’ outdoors when subjected to a strong light source from an upper-angle side. In terms of video playback, the Pixel 8 maintained a ‘very good’ level of brightness even in darker viewing environments.
