Motorola has expanded its Edge 40 series with the introduction of the Motorola Edge 40 Neo. This new addition boasts the Dimensity 7030 SoC, a 50MP camera setup, and a high-refresh-rate 144Hz screen.
Powered by the Dimensity 7030 SoC, the Motorola Edge 40 Neo offers a seamless experience, complemented by up to 12GB of LPDDR4X RAM and storage options of up to 256GB. It runs on Android 13 and includes support for Moto Connect and Ready For right out of the box.

The device features a striking 6.55″ FullHD+ 10-bit pOLED curved display, delivering a smooth user experience with its 144Hz refresh rate and 360Hz touch sampling rate. With DCI-P3 coverage and a peak brightness of 1,300 nits, the screen is also HDR10+ certified. Biometric authentication is facilitated through an under-display fingerprint reader, while a centered punch hole houses the impressive 32MP selfie camera.
On the rear, the camera module houses a 50MP primary camera with OIS and a 13MP ultrawide camera with a 120° FOV and autofocus for macro photography. The Motorola Edge 40 Neo is available in three attractive colors: PANTONE Black Beauty, PANTONE Soothing Sea, and PANTONE Caneel Bay. The black version features an acrylic rear panel, while the other two models come with back covers made of vegan leather, making them slightly thicker and heavier than the black variant.

Additionally, Motorola has collaborated with agood to offer eco-friendly protective cases for the Edge 40 Neo. These cases are entirely biodegradable and crafted from 100% plant-based materials. When it’s time to replace the case, agood will repurpose the old cases to minimize waste.
The Motorola Edge 40 Neo is available in the EMEA region starting at €399. It will launch in India on September 21 and will be available through Motorola India’s official website, Flipkart, and various retail stores across the country.
